The son pushed his paralyzed father, who was sitting in a wheelchair, straight into the swimming pool, hoping he
would never make it back out and that all his money and business would become his. But the son could never have
imagined how this cruel act would end.
After suffering a severe stroke, the father was left completely paralyzed. He could neither speak nor move his arms or
legs. Only his eyes remained full of life, and the index finger on his left hand could barely move. Doctors said there
was still a chance of recovery, but the treatment could take a very long time.
At first, the son seemed like the perfect caregiver. He fed his father on time, took him to his therapy sessions,
patiently changed his clothes, and even sat beside him in the evenings.
— Don’t worry, Dad. I’ll never abandon you, he said with a smile.
But that smile only appeared when other people were around.
A few months passed, and the son’s patience began to wear thin. He grew tired of taking care of someone who
couldn’t even say thank you. He became increasingly irritated, sighed heavily, and looked at his father with cold
indifference.
One evening, he opened a folder filled with documents and quietly muttered:
— As long as you’re alive, everything still belongs to you. And I’m tired of waiting.
The father owned a successful business, a large house, and substantial bank accounts. The son expected his father
to transfer the inheritance to him soon, but it never happened. After the stroke, the father had signed nothing, and the
doctors couldn’t say when he would be able to make such decisions again.
That was when a terrifying thought entered the son’s mind.
The next day, he wheeled his father out to the swimming pool beside the house. He carefully looked around. No one
was nearby.
— Everyone will think it was an accident, he whispered to himself.
The father stared at him with wide-open eyes, as if he understood every word. Desperately, he tried to move the only
finger that still responded, but he couldn’t stop his son.
The son gripped the wheelchair handles tightly and, with one sudden shove, pushed it straight into the pool.
The wheelchair disappeared beneath the water with a loud splash.
For several seconds, the son stood watching the surface of the water. Then he turned around and walked away,
convinced that no one had seen anything.
— Now it’s finally over, he whispered.

At that very moment, a man was passing by the house after finishing his morning run. Hearing the unusual splash, he
turned his head and noticed a wheelchair sinking beneath the water.
— Oh my God! There’s someone in there! he shouted.
Without hesitating for even a second, the man jumped into the pool fully clothed. With great difficulty, he pulled the
elderly man out of the water and immediately called for help.
Within minutes, an ambulance arrived. The doctors managed to save the father’s life.
When the son arrived at the hospital, he carefully pretended to be shocked.
— How could this have happened? I only looked away for a minute, he told the police officers.
But his confidence quickly disappeared.
One of the officers looked at him calmly and said:
— We need you to come with us.
— Why? I didn’t do anything.
The officer replied:
— There was a security camera by the pool. It recorded everything from the very beginning.
The son’s face instantly turned pale.
The footage clearly showed him deliberately pushing the wheelchair to the edge of the pool, looking around to make
sure no one was watching, and then intentionally shoving his own father into the water before calmly walking away.
There was no point in denying what had happened anymore.
It was later revealed that shortly before his stroke, the father had written a will. It stated that if his son ever harmed
him or was found guilty of a crime against him, he would automatically lose all rights to the inheritance.
The entire estate would instead be donated to a charitable foundation, with part of it also going to the loyal
employees who had worked honestly alongside the father for many years.
The son wanted to inherit everything as quickly as possible, but in the end, he lost absolutely everything.
And the elderly man, whom his son had considered completely helpless, survived thanks to a passerby who
happened to be there—and lived to see that his own son’s greed had become stronger than the bond between father
and son.
