Rice Clove Gel To Get Tight Skin That Shines Naturally

I stumbled on this by accident and I’m genuinely annoyed nobody told me sooner.

Rice water alone does good things. Clove water alone does good things. But mix them, let them steep overnight with aloe and a couple of pantry additions, and you end up with something that does what a $40 pore toner promises.

  1. Soak ½ cup of uncooked white rice and 4–5 whole cloves in 1 cup of cold water for about 45 minutes.
  2. The water goes cloudy and slightly spiced — that’s what you want.
  3. Strain it, then whisk in 2 tbsp of pure aloe vera gel until it blends smooth.
  4. Add a teaspoon of rose water if you have it, and a teaspoon of raw honey if your skin runs dry.
  5. Pour into a spray bottle. Refrigerate. Use within 5 days.

After you wash your face, spray it on and let it dry by itself. Don’t rinse it off. Morning and night, two weeks straight, before you decide if it’s working.

Here’s the actual reason it works: rice water has inositol, which gets into the skin and repairs it from inside rather than just coating the surface. Cloves are a natural astringent that shrink pores faster than most things I’ve tried. Aloe holds moisture without clogging anything. And honey keeps the skin soft rather than just temporarily tight. Together they don’t fight each other — they’re doing different jobs.
