The sons decided to push their mother into the ocean to get rid of her and take her assets… but none of them could
even imagine how this act would end
After her husband’s death, the widow changed a lot. She became quieter, went out less often, and barely spoke to
anyone. The house that once echoed with laughter became empty and cold. The sons saw it in their own way. At first
with irritation, then with calculation.
All of the husband’s wealth passed to her. The apartment, the accounts, the business — everything was in her name.
And every time the conversation turned to the future, she calmly repeated the same phrase:
— This is my guarantee of a peaceful old age. After me, everything will go to you anyway.
But they didn’t want to wait.
At first, they tried to pressure her with words. Then they tried to persuade her, promising care and painting beautiful
plans. When that didn’t work, they went further — they tried to forge documents, but that also turned out to be too
risky. Then another plan appeared.
For her birthday, they gave her a helicopter flight and a parachute jump. The mother was surprised, but even a little
pleased. For the first time in a long time, something alive appeared in her eyes. She thought her sons simply wanted
to shake her up, bring her back to life.
That day everything looked perfect. Blue sky, the sound of the rotors, the endless ocean beneath them. They smiled,
showed their mother the view, joked. The woman even laughed — for the first time in a long time.
Then one of the sons said:
— Mom, come here, look… what a view.
The woman walked up to the open door, holding onto the handle. The wind hit her face, her hair got messy, her heart

The mother did not fall into the ocean.
The pilot’s hand suddenly pulled the lever, the helicopter jolted, and the second crew member sitting beside him
instantly grabbed her right in midair. One of the sons misjudged the moment — the push was too obvious.
— What are you doing?! — the pilot shouted sharply, turning around.
Silence fell inside the cabin.
The woman stood there, breathing heavily. She slowly turned to her sons. There was no fear left in her eyes. Only
understanding.
— This was not a gift… — she said quietly.
One of the sons tried to say something, but the words got stuck. The other looked away.
They didn’t know that this flight hadn’t been arranged just for entertainment. Before takeoff, the woman had insisted
on signing all the documents and insurance papers, which included details of the route, the participants, and even
surveillance cameras inside the cabin — a standard procedure they hadn’t paid attention to.
The helicopter turned back. When they landed, service staff, police, and representatives of the insurance company
were already waiting for them. The pilot immediately gave his statement. The cameras had recorded everything.
The sons stood there, unable to lift their eyes. Their plan, which had seemed so simple and “clean,” fell apart in a
matter of seconds.
The woman walked past them in silence.
That same evening, she transferred all her property. But not to them.
She established a foundation in her husband’s name and transferred most of the assets there. The rest she kept for
herself, to finally live in peace — without fear and without people who called themselves family.
And for the first time, the sons understood that they had lost everything. And it wasn’t even about the money.
