There are many ways to get rid of rats, but not everyone knows how to do it safely, hygienically, and easily.

Use cinnamon

You can use items with scents that mice dislike to repel them from your home. Cinnamon sticks have a very strong aroma that keeps mice away. Place cinnamon sticks in storage areas, food storage areas, near ceilings, and areas where mice frequently visit to deter them from returning.

Chili powder

Compared to rat traps, using chili powder is an extremely simple and highly effective method. Simply prepare some chili powder and sprinkle it in areas where rats frequently run. Because rats are extremely afraid of the smell of chili powder, just one application will be enough to make them leave and rarely return.

Use vinegar

Vinegar has a distinctive smell that mice hate. Soak a cotton ball in vinegar. Insert this cotton ball into all the cracks and crevices where mice frequent your house. When the cotton ball dries and loses its smell, replace it with a new vinegar-soaked cotton ball to maintain its effectiveness in repelling mice.
