Ava stands alone near the shattered glass, shaking but focused.

Daniel tries to approach her.

Daniel: “Ava, I never wanted you to find out like this—”

She steps back immediately.

Ava: “Don’t come closer.”

The officer opens the final page of the file. His expression changes.

Officer: “Operation A-17 was never officially cancelled.”

Everyone freezes.

Margaret: “What does that mean?”

The officer looks at Ava.

Officer: “Because you weren’t just a soldier on that mission…”

A long pause.

Officer: “You were the target.”

Shockwave silence.

Ava’s eyes widen.

Ava: “No… that’s not possible.”

The officer continues:
Officer: “Someone inside the command structure marked you for elimination.”

All heads slowly turn toward Daniel.

Daniel shakes his head violently.
Daniel: “That’s a lie!”

But his phone suddenly rings. An unknown encrypted call.

On speaker, a distorted voice:
UNKNOWN: “He’s lying… finish the file.”

Ava looks at Daniel, tears finally falling.

Ava (broken): “Who are you, Daniel?”

Sirens intensify. Helicopter lights appear above the forest.

Daniel steps back into the shadows.
