Part 2 :The crowd screamed and scattered.

Emma grabbed the boy and sprinted into a nearby shopping arcade…

“Who are they?” she shouted.

The boy struggled to keep up.

“They work for Victor!”

“Who’s Victor?”

“My grandfather.”

Emma stopped.

“What?”

The boy looked terrified.

“My mom said he’s dangerous.”

Footsteps echoed behind them.

The men were still chasing them.

Emma spotted an emergency exit and shoved the door open.

They burst onto the rooftop of a parking structure.

The city stretched beneath the cloudy evening sky.

There was nowhere left to run.

The two men emerged from the stairwell.

One raised his gun.

“It’s over, kid.”

Then a voice echoed across the rooftop.

“No. It’s over for you.”

Everyone turned.

A woman stepped from the shadows.

Emma gasped.

“Sophia…”

Her sister stood there, alive.

The men looked shocked.

“You were supposed to be dead!”

Sophia smiled coldly.

“So was I.”

Police sirens suddenly erupted below.

Red and blue lights flooded the rooftop.

The two men tried to run but officers swarmed them from every direction.

The boy rushed into Sophia’s arms.

“Mom!”

Sophia held him tightly as tears streamed down her face.

Emma could hardly believe it.

After eleven years, her sister was finally standing in front of her.

“What happened?” Emma asked.

Sophia looked toward the city lights.

“Our father discovered something worth billions. Victor murdered him to steal it.”

Emma stared in disbelief.

“And he spent eleven years hunting us to keep the secret buried.”

The police led the criminals away.

For the first time in over a decade, the nightmare was over.

Sophia smiled at Emma.

“We’re finally safe.”

But across the street, inside a black sedan, an unknown man watched the reunion.

He picked up his phone.

“They found Sophia,” he said.

A cold voice answered:

“Then begin Phase Two.”
