Katie Price Faces Fan Backlash Over “Rip-Off” Joint Tour with Kerry Katona

Katie Price is coming under heavy criticism from fans who attended her joint stage show with Kerry Katona, with many branding the evening a “rip-off” and expressing deep disappointment in what unfolded.

Promises vs. Delivery: A “No-Filter” Evening Falls Short

The show, An Evening with Katie Price & Kerry Katona, was advertised as a raw, behind-the-scenes look into their two-decade friendship, with “no filters” and juicy insider revelations.  However, those expectations were not met. At The Eric Morecambe Centre in Harpenden, many audience members left feeling the event was “pointless,” “unprofessional,” and even disrespectful. 

One attendee told The Sun, “They were 20 minutes late on stage, showing no respect for the audience’s time.” Another added, “We had been promised salacious insider secrets. But I had to stop myself from falling asleep. Katie looked very poorly and incredibly thin. She hid behind a cushion, vaping with stress while her children were there. [She] looked and acted bored and uninterested.”

Katie’s children, Junior and Princess Andre, as well as Kerry’s daughter Heidi, were in the audience. Rather than adding to the drama, some viewers say the children’s presence seemed to distract rather than enrich the evening. “She couldn’t host the show properly,” one guest complained.

Lacklustre Content and Missed Expectations

The production had already been shifted from its original venue in St Albans to a smaller location, leading some to speculate that ticket sales were weaker than anticipated.  Many felt the content itself didn’t live up to the promise: “dull as dishwater,” they said, with little of the gossip and outrageous stories they had been promised. 

Several attendees claimed Kerry Katona had to “carry the show,” resorting to crass humor and profanity to fill awkward silences. A brief Q&A featuring Princess and Heidi drew harsh criticism, with one spectator saying, “Katie just sat there like a lemon” while Kerry struggled to maintain energy. 

Some guests also accused the pair of hypocrisy. While they lamented media intrusion and the loss of privacy, they allegedly boasted about earnings from staged paparazzi moments. One audience member reportedly asked whether they truly respected fans who spent hard-earned cash to be there. 

As the night ended, murmured regrets spread through the crowd. One blunt comment summed up the sentiment:

“It was not professional at all. There is a difference between being in the moment and being so unprepared that you struggle for anything to say. All we got was boredom and bad banter for the ticket price.”

Touring Woes, Technical Failures, and Public Outcry

This isn't the first time the tour has experienced turbulence. At a show in Whitley Bay, technical difficulties delayed the performance by half an hour. The result? Katie attempted to join via FaceTime, which many considered a disastrous substitute for her physical presence.  Some attendees demanded refunds, calling the whole evening “unprofessional.” 

In other instances, Katie reportedly remained on stage for only 35 minutes, prompting even more refund demands from disgruntled ticket holders. 

At a different venue, Kerry Katona abruptly walked off stage mid-show, later revealing she had suffered a panic attack. She issued a public apology to attendees. 

Wider Concerns and Media Attention

Inside sources suggest there’s growing concern among Katie’s associates about her recent behaviour. Reports claim she has missed or arrived late to several shows, and that her reliability is becoming erratic. During one Bradford show—Gareth Gates’ hometown—Katie allegedly used profanity in a jibe at the pop singer, reigniting tension with a former flame.

Earlier this year, Katie reportedly withdrew from the tour citing childcare obligations. But even before that, few could have predicted just how tumultuous the venture would become.

What was sold as an intimate, no-filters look at two well-known media personalities instead turned into what many regard as a disappointing, disjointed, and poorly executed evening.
